Oasis Footwear's founder and president, James Lin, D.O. knows that healthier living begins with a balance of mind, body, and spirit. Our body works as a system to maintain that balance. As a practicing Geriatric Medicine Physician, Dr. Lin understands not only what patients want in shoes, but also what healthcare professionals need built into the shoes to ensure protection for the feet. Dr. Lin used this understanding to develop the best wellness shoes on the market.

Early in his medical career Dr. Lin took some time away from medicine to work in his family's business – shoe-making. During that time he had the opportunity to meet and work with designers, manufacturers, and marketers of many of the world's leading footwear brands. Those experiences combined with his viewpoint as a doctor afford him a unique understanding of the process of designing and manufacturing wellness footwear. The personal relationships he forged helped him assemble a talented team of footwear professionals when it came time to launch Oasis Footwear.
